Commercial Office Featuring FSC Reclaimed Teak. East Teak’s FSC-certified 100% recycled teak, which has been reclaimed from existing structures, comes to life in this Dallas-based leading architectural office. Gensler Architects specified the sand-and-finish 3/8″ x 5″ tongue & groove eco-friendly flooring in several public areas in their new office, including the lobby, waiting area and visitor lounge. The installer, Woodwright, used a low VOC clear finish to complete the look. The project is currently pursuing the US Green Building Council’s LEED certification status.
