We just completed these solid Reclaimed Teak Bench Blocks that are now installed at the Chicago Riverwalk. They were beautiful and impressive pieces once completed. Our staff was able to make sure that the block was assembled so that no imperfections or markings inherent in reclaimed wood were visible once the benches were installed. The photos below may be a little blurry, but they show the scale and beautiful teak wood texture of the block benches.
This photo shows the bottom of the bench block where hardware was added for final installation.
I was able to find some photos of the Chicago Boardwalk from Instagram that also show the benches in their final installation. It’s exciting to see the final product that will be there for many many years to come. You can see the benches in the bottom right of each photo below.
While we were walking around the mill, we snapped a few other products going out. Below are some seriously long and wide teak boards ready to ship out.
Below is how we package our Ipe Pre-grooved decking so that it is protected before it is delivered to you. It is palletized, strapped down, and wrapped in plastic to protect it during transport and delivery.
