One of the salesman at ETT Fine Woods shared a personal project he had worked on that used many of our hardwoods. It is an electric guitar built from a PVX Double Cutaway Kit from PVX Guitar. The kit provides you with the body and neck that are rough sanded and allow you to custom build the guitar yourself. The kit requires fine sanding, finishing, and installation of all electric guitar hardware other than the body and neck. Once you have done that part you will have a guitar that everyone else will be in awe of.
The guitar has Zebrawood for the Top Body, Top head stock, neck heel, Utile for the Body, Hard Maple for the Neck, Truss Rod cover, Walnut for the highlight strips in neck, and Anigre for the Pickup Trim rings. The texture of the Zebrawood especially with the curves of the body really makes the guitar pop. This turned out to be a great guitar and really outperforms all of his other electrics.
